Return Policy

Due to the custom nature of our products and services, all returns are handled according to the guidelines below. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order or making a payment.

1. Custom Fabricated Stone Countertops

All fabricated stone countertops are custom-manufactured to your exact specifications and are non-returnable and non-refundable once fabrication has begun. This includes templated, cut, edged, or finished slabs of any material (granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, porcelain, or any other natural or engineered stone).

If a fabrication error is made by Epic Home Design LLC — such as incorrect dimensions, wrong edge profile, or wrong material — we will re-fabricate or replace the affected piece at no cost to the Client. All defects must be reported within 48 hours of installation with photographic documentation.

2. Cabinets & Manufactured Products

  • Stock (in-stock) items: Unopened, uninstalled cabinets in original, undamaged packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, minus a 20% restocking fee.
  • Special-order and custom cabinets: Non-returnable and non-refundable once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
  • Installed products: Any cabinet or product that has been installed cannot be returned regardless of circumstances.

3. Defective or Damaged Products

If a product arrives damaged or is found to be defective upon delivery:

  • Document the damage immediately with clear photographs.
  • Notify Epic Home Design LLC within 48 hours of delivery at info@epichomepa.com.
  • We will assess the damage and coordinate repair or replacement at no charge to the Client for covered defects.
  • Damage caused by the Client after delivery is not covered.

4. Deposits

Deposits are refundable only under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation submitted in writing before any materials have been ordered: deposit refunded minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation after materials have been ordered or fabrication has begun: deposit is non-refundable.

5. Non-Returnable Items — Summary

  • Any stone slab that has been templated, cut, or fabricated
  • Special-order or custom cabinetry
  • Any installed product
  • Materials purchased as part of a signed project contract where work has commenced

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage Clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. Chargebacks filed on completed, delivered, or installed work performed in accordance with a signed contract will be disputed. This may include submission of the signed contract, project photos, delivery records, and communication history as evidence. Unresolved chargebacks may result in collection proceedings.

7. How to Submit a Return or Warranty Claim

To initiate a return request or report a defect, contact us using the information below. Please include:

  • Your full name and project address
  • Invoice or contract number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs (required for defect or damage claims)
